Description

Page 205. We need to work on emunah (faith) even though the world "gets in the way." Life in this world is feeling separated from Hashem. Mitzvos bind us to Hashem. Children are very innocent but learn "through time." Not everything that sparkes brings us closer to Hashem. Desires fill this world with false pleasures. Fire and water and earth and air are the basic components of the world. Glatt kosher food at the Super Bowl, a six foot hero sandwich are all desires of this world. The root of our desires is that we were created to satisfy ourselves. The yetzer hara (evil inclination) is inside of us. The root of desire is from the power of "I want." In This World we can make our own Garden of Eden and banish Hashem.
