p. 229. We must be the kind of person who is prepared and wants to go deeper and deeper. In reality there is Ain Sof (no end), but in this world we trained to live in an way of sof (end). We should always know that there are greater and greater depths to explore in what we learn. Hashem created everything for us to connect to Him through. Hashem designed us to be in the world, and to be among people and to be very involved here. The two questions we have to ask ourselves is how much of the world we take in, and then how consciously connected are we with Hashem while involved in the physical. There are tzaddikim who only eat exactly what they need to survive.
