Description

P. 265. When a person realizes that this world is not the final destination, his perspective on everything changes. What was Yaakov Avinue (our forefather) thinking and what was his real intent when he asked for a life of tranquility? What is the meaning of the brachah (blessing) tzadikim (the righteous) would give each other upon leaving the study hall? Elevating one's neshamah (soul) and "removing" our guf (body) from the neshamah; this lessens our connection to this world as the ultimate purpose. Separting ourselves from a world filled with yissurim (suffering). Entering into the deeper part of oneself, which is outside the physical world. On vacation, are we trying to get away from the neshamah, or the guf? Making time for, and an appointment with my neshamah.
