Description

p. 268. It cannot be that this world is the tachlis (ultimate purpose) of man's existence. This physical world does not give the neshama (soul) pleasure, only the Elokus (spiritual content) in the physical. The neshama does not understand the language of the guf (body). The neshama has to be higher than the malachim (angels) in order to elevate them. When Moshiach comes, the concept of 'ateres ba'ala' (crown of her husband) will be revealed, that the woman will be the mashpiah (giver) rather than the mekabel (receiver). The greatest thing the guf can give to the neshama is itself.
