Description

Throughout the discussion of the Mishkan, the Torah always returns to Shabbos. Both good and evil are needed to fulfill the purpose of Creation. When we realize and see the whole picture, the purpose of evil becomes clear. Shabbos is when we step away from all the work of the world and are given a glimpse of the whole picture. On Shabbos we have the ability to turn mundane acts such as eating into an avodah (holy work). Mordechai and Ester knew how to see the whole picture. Sadness is sourced in not seeing the big picture and only being fixated on the opposing evil forces in the world.
