Description

The world stands on the pillar that connects heaven and earth, the tzaddik. The job of the tzaddik is to raise up the Shechina (Divine Presence) from the dirt. Yaakov was able to the unify the highest with the lowest and knew the secret of the end of days. Sometimes the tzaddik needs to descend to the level of a child. Because of Yoseph HaTzaddik, every Jew can make it through galus (exile). Noach was a tzaddik who can only influence his followers and Avraham was a tzaddik who constantly reaches down to the lowest Jews. Nachas ruach (pleasing Hashem) comes when a Jew faces their nisyonos (trials) and remains a committed Jew.
