Description
After all these years of davening (praying) and yiddishkeit, what can we say to Hashem who seems so distant from us? Do we feel Hashem in our lives or is He merely a concept? From a Medrash in Parshas Va'eschanah: the reason why we believe that we cannot do teshuvah. Hashem is crying out to all of us, begging us to return to Him. From the sefer Chovas HaTalmidim (a student's obligation): If only we were aware and believed how much Hashem loves us. The remedy: looking Hashem in the eye and coming home. A son can enter his father's room whenever he wants.
