Description

Niggunim (tunes) that come from deep within the heart. Bringing out the chein (grace/charm) in oneself and in other Jews. From Shir HaShirim "domeh dodi letzvi" (my beloved is similar to a deer [who, while running forward looks back]). A tzaddik (righteous person) is always concerned for his fellow Jews and does not want to leave this world in the darkness. Why is the yahrzeit (anniversary) of the death of a tzaddik a time for simchah (joy)? Tzaddikim who refused to leave their chassidim during the years of the Holocaust [when it was still possible to leave]. The painful question: mah e'esseh (what shall I do? [what choice do I have])? The Rebbe did not allow himself to be saved and would not abandon his chassidim (devout followers). The Chozeh of Lublin's annual haircut.
