Description

At the Aish Kodesh Hilula one year ago (5770), Rav Weinberger requested that members of the shul complete all of Torah Sh'Bichtav and Torah Sh'Ba'al Peh for this Hilula. These were Rav Weinberger's words arfter the siyum. Our customs at a se'udas (meal) mitzvah. What types of sforim (holy books) do we make a siyum (finishing ceremony) on? The Torah is the bride of each and every Jew. Iyov's attempt to exempt us from judgement in the next world. Torah is the cure and antidote for the yetzer harah (evil inclination). The only way to work with the yetzer harah, which is compared to iron, is to throw it into the fire of Torah. We pray to Hashem to create within ourselves a pure heart - lev tahor. Our gift of Torah Sh'Ba'al Peh and Sh'Bichsav to the Aish Kodesh.
