Description

Why is the murder of tzaddikim (righteous) woen into the fabric of Kinos? Crying in a great way over the Sh'chinah's (divine presence) anguish. Hashem made the world in such a way that the hands of the Sh'chinah are "tied." The purpose of yissurin (tests) is to bring atonement into a person's life. A person looks at this world and can't understand how there can possibly be so much suffering - latest examples: little Leiby Kletzky and Rav Elazar Abuchatzeira. From the book "The Forgotten Memoirs" - Rav Tzvi Gutman's story of the Rumanian's murderous rampage and his own miraculous escape. At the very end, according to the Toldos Yaakov Yosef, we must focus on two things to bring the ge'ulah (redemption): shmiras eynayim (guarding our eyes) and ahavas chinam (loving others "just because").
