Description
The miracle of Purim was even seen by the people at the ends of the earth. There are two domains in our life - the domain of mitzvos and the domain of reshus (optional things). There is no such thing as a G-dless moment, that there are times of vacation away from serving Hashem. Doing a mitzvah is a clear statement of serving Hashem, while doing reshus activities are only clear as l'shem shamayim (for the sake of Heaven) after the fact. So too, when Hashem 'does a mitzvah', the good is revealed, like Pesach, but when Hashem 'does a reshus activity', the good is not revealed until after, like Purim. Purim teaches you that everything was good the whole way through.
