Description

This is an introduction to the Sugya of תפילת תשלומין, Making up a missed Tefillah. We will explain the Gemorah and study Rashi and Tos', with emphasis on the controversy between Tos and the Rif regarding one who omitted Yaaleh Veyavo in the mincha of Rosh Chodesh, and by the time he remembers it is Maariv after Rosh Chodesh. What does he gain by davening a תפילת תשלומין, since he will not add Yaaleh VeYavoh to his Tefillah?
