Description

We will study the insights of the Brisker Rav in his interpretation of the debate between the Rambam & the Rosh in the case of one who ate the Matzah or drank the Kosos without demonstrating freedom by reclining, must he repeat his Achilas Matzah in order to eat be'Heseba? Is Heseba essential to Mitzvas Achilas Matzah or is Heseba an independent Mitzva, i.e. a kiyum onto itself? We will study the critique of the Har Tzvi to the Brisker Rav. In the last part of the shiur we will discuss the insights of the Poskim regarding a number of practical q's regarding Heseba, including the issue of women and Heseba. We will discuss the q' of a father who objects to his son's Heseba.
