Description

We will study the first essay of Pachad Yitzchok for Yom Kippur. In this presentation, we learn that the first creation reached its termination with sin. The second Shem HaVaya (Holy Name) created a world with Teshuva. Within the context of these two creations, two worlds, and two Holy Names, and the unique mitzva of Teshuva on Y"K emerges, as well as a new entity of Tefilla. The latter becomes part of the world of Teshuva and is not derived from the verse ועבדתם but rather from the Parsha of the aftermath of the Chet HaEgel and the 13 attributes of justice. The latter form the essence of the Selichot which are recited during the period of Teshuva and form a new entity of Tefilla.
