For Berachot 18a-19b we will study 3 sugyos: Toward a definition of the Issur of לועג לרש; The debate between the Tana Kama & Rebby Yehuda regarding those Menachamim who did not come specifically to console the Aveilim, are these exempt pr obligated in Kriyas Shema; an introduction to the sugya of Kavod Habrios. For the sugya of לועג לרש we will investigate a bunch of Rambams & suggest a definition that will involve both the respect for the dead as well as respect for the sanctity of a Sefer Torah & Tefillin. We wonder if this violation is violated only when one dons his Tefillin & reads from the Torah or simply bringing these objects into the proximity of the dead. The 2nd sugya requires analyzing 2 parts of Chesed: מעשה מצוה וקיום שבלב.
