Description

If Sefer Shemot would have ended with the glory of the receiving of the Torah, we would not have been surprised. That seems to have been the goal of the Exodus itself. What is surprising is that the Sefer then radically shifts into a 5 Parsha discussion of the Mishkan. Why is the Mishkan a part of Sefer Shemot? We explore how this final section is critical to the Sefer, and in fact retroactively validates everything that came before it. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College.)
