Description

Will will study the Shach's understanding of the Maharshal regarding the Chumra of Kli Sheini re: a Davar Gush, and focus on the proof for the Maharshal that the Shach adduces from Tos' in Masechet Shabbat. We will see the Yad Avraham who's brilliant insight defends the Maharshal against the attack from Masechet Chulin 104b in the sugya of גזירת העלאה. This insight is based upon the principle formulated by the Pri Megadim regarding hot milk & cheese that combined without liquid. We will study the great chiddush of the Binas Adam who allows for an Issur Ha'Na'ah in an Issur Basar BeChalav derabanan, something never heretofore heard of.
