We will begin with the debate over the status of the כחל when it was cooked alone. Rashi explains the Heter based upon a principle called חלב הנבלע. We will understand Rashi based on the definition of the שם חלב which emerges when the milk is פורש; before the פרישה the milk is not called milk. Tos' omits the distinction between נבלע ופורש. Rather the key point is טעם; the 'natural' milk located in the כחל is not a 'foreign' טעם to its 'host', i.e. to the meat of the utter. What happens when the כחל is cooked with other pieces of meat? Acc to Rashi now the milk becomes חלב הפורש. Acc to Tos now the milk absorbs a 'foreign' טעם one which combines with the meat of the utter to create בב"ח. The issue: isn't the טעם חלב 'lost' in the 60x?
