      Shalom Rav Leibowitz, what would you say about filtering cold coffee on Shabbos? Basically I let the coffee grinds sit in water for about 24 hours (let's say starting on Friday morning) then on Shabbos morning can I pour the liquid mixture through the filter? Its a little different than the regular case of pouring hot water through the coffee grinds, as the liquid is already a mixture in this case. I still think it may be okay based on what you said in the shiur that effectively you are not adding any volume to the original water, just adding flavor. Another tzad lihakel may be that over the 24 hours that the liquid was sitting in the fridge the coffee grinds have fallen to the bottom of the mixture. What do you think?
