Description
We will study two sugyos on Chulin 101a:One, Rebby Shimon's view that if one eats the Gid of a non-kosher animal he violates no Issur whatsoever neither Gid nor Beheima Temai'ah; Two, אין איסור חל על איסור באיסור כולל וחמור, the view of Rebby Yossi that if one eats the Gid of a Neveila he is not in violation of Neveilaid of a korban or of a Shor HaNiskal he will be in violation of two Issurim. The same should be true in the case of kodshim that became contaminated and then the man became Tamei and the latter Issur is both כולל and חמור since all Baser (even Tahor) becomes prohibited and the new Issur adds the punishment of Kares. The sugya vacillates on the status of חמור in this case since the Tamei can remove his Tumah by entering a Mikve
