Description

The sugya in Masechet Bava Kamma 11a-b addresses the issue: does the Mazik, the Ganav, & the Sho'el pay for the carcass? Meaning that pay the entire market price of the animal as it were live, and they have to deal with the נבילה? Even if they only pay the difference between the live animal & its Neveila, nevertheless they are responsible for hauling the dead animal up from the bottom of the Bor or to reimburse the Nizak for the wages he paid the haulers. Much of today's Daf records a string of Halachik statements quoted by Ula in the name of R' Elazar. These touch on a wide range of topics including the Tuma of a Yoledes, the division of an estate amongst the brothers, the status of a baby that did not live to the 30th day since its birth.
