Description

We have already offered a lengthy introduction to the first Mishna in this Perek (please find that shiur here on the YU site), and in this shiur we will continue by analyzing Rebby Meir & Rebby Shimon in this Mishna. This will require applying the definitions of both R' Yishmael & R' Akiva to the case of multiple damages of a single שור תם, who collects what from the שור המזיק? The latter segment of the shiur will address the payment for בושת in the case of one who blew into the ear of the damaged party and will lead to a discussion about the value of a סלע.
