Description
Our sugya addresses the issue of a Mazik owned by a חרש שוטה או קטן. The owner of the Mazik is not liable for damages, but Beid Did will appoint an agent to supervise the animal - as we discussed in the previous shiur. If the animal has been establishes as a מועד, the compensation fees will be collected from either the agent or the properties of the young orphan. Does this apply to a שור תם as well? Other issues includ: what level of שמירה must be provided in the cases of Tam & Muad? Does the original 1/2 Nezek still apply under the regulations that govern a Tam even when the animal becomes a Muad? We will study the case of a שואל who received an animal under the false premise that it is a שור תם & later discovered that the animal is a מועד
