Description

For Masechet Bava Kamma 79a-b we will discuss a number of Sugyos: Is a shtar (contract) meaningful for movables? Can the seller transfer ownership on Metaltilin by giving a document to the buyer? The 2nd sugya for today is defining the difference betweeen the Ganav & the Gazlan. Why was the Torah so harsh on the former & lenient on the latter? Why for the ox is there Heh (5x), whilst for the lamb only Daled (4x)? We will introduce the Mishna regarding raising animals in inhabited areas of the Land of Israel. The Mishna presents a list of Rabbinic prohibitions that were instituted to protect those parts of the Land that were settled, and to protect the sanctity of Kodshim & Teruma. The status of the rooster. Protect the people against dogs.
