The Mishna records a controversy regarding a woman who makes a claim in response to the testimony of witnesses who saw her in a compromising position. Is she believed with her claim to establish her status as a כשירה for Kehuna? In the 1st part of the Mishna we can explain her credibility based on ספק ספיקא if we accept the premise of Zeiri that the witnesses saw no more than Yichud. This makes the stringent view of R' Yehoshua in the Mishna very difficult.
