Description

We continue the sugya in Masechet Bava Kamma 99a. Would a קטן writing a גט acquire the Get? If so, how could the Get be valid? When would Rav Assi agree that the craftsman does not acquire the appreciation? in one case there simply is no appreciation (שבח), in another, the craftsmen is not being paid for the job & the expertise but for the effort and the פעולה. In the case of שכר פעולה the worker is receiving wages but does not acquire the שבח. The sugya continues with a presentation of a debate re: the worker gives back the finished product to a woman & waives her obligation to pay his wages in lieu of accepting marriage. This will introduce the question of how & when the obligation to pay wages emerges.
