This shiur discussed the halakhic permissibility of scotch aged in sherry (wine) casks, including discussion of mevatlin issur lechatchila (purposefully nullifying something forbidden), avida le-ta'ama (something meant to add flavor), yayin stam (wine handled by a gentile), and more. This shiur was delivered to Australian and South African talmidim as well as post-college talmidim in Yeshivat Har Etzion.
