Derech Halimud: הכרעת ספקות על פי הנחה ראשונה ומוחזק. We seek to establish some of the rules that determine ספיקות. We will begin to analyze the case of Milah, return to the Teshuvos HaRashba, and study the controversy re: which sand qualifies as עפר for the mitzva of covering the blood. We must determine the original status & the first assumption (or premise).
