Description
In this sugya we will address the following issues in situational ethics: 1) the Kalla, the burial of the dead, the Melech, who comes first? The case is where each of the above is being escorted and the respective groups need access to the path, to the road, which group gives way to which? Was Agrippas justified in allowing the Kalla to go first? 2) Talmud Torah & קבורת המת, which comes first? Must one terminate his study for the sake of joining the funeral entourage? What if the constant demand to attend weddings will completely undermine the Torah study of an educator? How many people must show up at a funeral or a wedding til the goal of כל צרכו has been achieved and one continues his study? Must a Chacham terminate or is it a היתר?
