Description
Last week we studied the sugya in Masechet Niddah 67b and established that there is no allowance for Tevilla during the daylight hours. Today we will study Hilchos Niddah, siman #187:3 & explore the possibility of allowing Tevilla by day. For example, the case of the כלה on the day before her Chuppah, can we permit Tevilla by day? Or the case of a woman who should be going to Mikveh on Friday night but cannot do so for security reasons (as in the situation of the scuds flying from Iraq on those dangerous nights). If we accept the view of R' Tam who is opposed to Tevilla on Shabbos since the חפיפה was back on Fri, then the earliest time she can go to the Mikve will be on Sunday! Or a woman who is embarrassed about returning Fri night late.
