For Masechet Ketuvot 19b: can the witnesses on the Shtar authenticate their signitures & then claim that a condition was added by the seller to the transaction? Can הפה שאסר allow for the testimony of the Shtar to be considered incomples so that the witneses can complet their testimony by adding a תנאי? This case should not be equated with one in which the witneses invalidate the Shtar by defining it as a מודעא או אמנה. In the latter part of today's shiur we will discuss the following issue: Must the עידי הכחשה testify in the presence of the 1st pair of witnesses, i.e the עדים המוכחשים? Does הכחשה have the same status as הזמה?
