We begin with establishing the Halacha like R' Meir that one who has testified falsely in a monetary case is disqualified even for a capital case, we go from his will allow us to accept the view of Abaye disqualifying one who eats non-kosher food for testimony. We begin the Mishna of those disqualified because of קורבה, i.e. because they are related to the בעל דין.
