Description

For Masechet Sanhedrin 74b-75a we will study the mitzva of kiddush Hashem especially in the case of a Jew who is forced to violate the Torah publicly, i.e. in the presence of ten Jews. Must the ten be present or is it enough if the episode is known to the public? We will study the case of Esther and why she was permitted to submit herself to the King and was not required to give up her life. Is a ben-Noach obligated in the mitzva of Kiddush Hashem?
