About the question that you have raised if there is anything worthwhile for a child not to be an oral, I am thinking whether maybe the punishmment of karais is avoided by not being an oral, or is the punishment for not having the mitzvah done, and therefore if there is nothing to cut, maybe it is an oness thank-you lavi leider
