Dear Rabbi Rakeffet-Rothkoff Shlita, Thank-you again for the great shiurim. In this shiur you mentioned Harav Klein's reasoning to allow a change in nusach, based on "ma shalibo chofetz", and it got me thinking into the issue of "lo sitosh" about not changing a minhag. It maybe that only when it comes to learning and davening, one is not entirely bound by minhag, because the sifri on "u"lovdo bechol levavchem" says that this is going on torah and tefilla. That could mean where "libo chafetz" has to have an individual role in both, whereas other minhagim like kitniyos and gebruchts may be fully subject to "lo sitosh" thank-you lavi leider

The sefer mentioned at the beginning of the shiur was written by R' Shimon Sofer [1850-1944] a major Hungarian posek. The Mishne Halachot could not have meant that it was a new sefer but that he just saw the teshuva or maybe the sefer was republished.

For more info you can google his name and get the history.
