One of the famous "fours" at the Seder is the Rabbinic Mitzvah of ארבעה כוסות של יין, the four cups of wine we are obligated to drink at the Seder. The reasons suggested by Haza"l for this number of cups are assayed amid the larger issue of identifying reasons as opposed to explanations or lessons for various practices.
