Masechet Shabbat Sugyat Chanuka B'Iyun 21b: What undermines the מעשה הדלקה? In this shiur we will analyze the relationship between the act of kindling and its resulting נר דלוק from a Shas (universal) perspective. For example, placing the raw food on the fire, or shooting the arrow. In Derech HaLimud we distinguish between the act and its result, its accomplishment. What is the relationship between the two? This analysis seks to shed a new light on the many sources in Rishonim and Achronim that seem to re-define the principle of כבתה אין זקוק לה.
