This shiur is comprised of two parts: One, Masechet Pesachim B'Iyun 4b-5a: Defining the Mitzva of תשביתו based on R' Chaim Brisker on the Rambam and the insights of the Rav as recorded in the Harerei Kedem. Two, the proper time for the Mitzva of סיפור יציאת מצרים. This will begin our attempt at answering the question of HaRav I. Z. Meltzer on the Ramban and at defining תשביתו as a complex Mitzva made up of both a קיום עשה and an איסור עשה as well. The latter part of the shiur will be dedicated to the view of many Poskim that סיפור requires לילה and cannot be fulfilled after קבלת תוספת יום טוב before complete darkness. We will mention the dissenting view of the Chasam Sofer.
