1. Title: Movies - Women Singing
      Author: Anonymous

R' Dr. Rakefet would encourage young people to watch "clean" movies, as he states. There is no serious poskek alive who would say that. There is no such thing as a clean movie. Movies are not only filled with sex and violence but also convey terrible values to our youth - even so-called "religious" movies.

This is dangerous.

R' Rakefet also asks for a source where it says that it is forbidden to hear a group of women singing. The source is Sotah 48.

אמר רב יוסף: זמרי גברי ועני נשי – פריצותא; זמרי נשי ועני גברי - כאש בנעורת

למאי נפקא מינה?

לבטולי הא מקמי הא

This is cited by countless poskim li-halacha. The heter to hear a group of women siging is hotly contested and was given by the Seredei Eish for kiruv purposes only.

R' Rakefet would better serve if he would encourage enhanced kedusha and not the opposite.

    2. Title: Westerns
      Author: Anonymous

R' Rakefet said that his Rebbe liked westerns. How many did he watch ? One? Two? [Zero??] Hard to believe that such a busy gadol bi-yisrael had time for movies.
