A fundamental case in laws of milk & Meat. A piece of meat in a pot with other meat receives a drop of milk. The receiving piece is in some way connected to the other meat. Despite this connection, the piece is evaluated in isolation - does it have the required volume to nullify the drop? The Mishnah does Not allow the other pieces of meat to be part of the required volume to nullify the drop. If the drop is not nullified then the whole piece is prohibited. Not just the drop, but the whole piece. This is called chateecha na’asis nevayla (channan).
