Description

Following the liquidation of the Kovno ghetto by the Nazis in 1941, in which more than ten thousand men, women and children were murdered, a number of survivors asked Rav Oshry whether they should say Birchas Hagomel for their survival. Should they say the Beracha to give thanks to Hashem for their lives being spared, or can the Beracha only be said when one completely emerges from danger?
