Description

A careful analysis of the pesukim and statements in the Gemara and Rishonim about how we count our years would reveal that the proper year to keep Shemita would be 5780. Why then do we observe Shemita in 5775 and 5782? Shiur was delivered to the overseas program at Yeshivat Har Etzion.
