Description

Masechet Eruvin 104a, another case which is lenient in Mikdash because the Kohanim need this Rabbinic שבות of Meleches בונה to be set aside so that they can do the Avodah on the Mizbe'ach without slipping on the כבש. We cannot alter the תבנית המקדש on a permanent basis. Our sugya will raise an entirely different issue, namely, a חציצה between the feet of the Kohanim and the ground of the כבש.
