gmar chasima tova! i enjoyed listening to this shiur and even referred to this shiur when hosting a seudas hodaya this year. there was an idea of the rav that was mentioned - when we say baruch sheamar, we are confident in our ability to praise the ribono shel olam. yet by the time we reach yishtabach, we are less confident in that ability. on shabbos though, we add nishmas (which has no mention of shabbos) and say הן הם יודו ויברכו וישבחו right before yishtabach. is there a special segula on shabbos that we can again be confident? if not, how would the rav address that phrase added right before yishtabach on shabbos and yontiff? thank you.
