Rabbi, I have been listening to your Sunday and Monday shiurim for decades. As a student of Rav Gustman in 1974-1975, he told us how in his youth he had two students that he tutored, Shmulkey and Tulkey. The young Shmuel Razovsky and Naftoli, the son of Rav Elchonan Wasserman. So it makes perfect sense Rav Shimon Shkop would ask Rav Gustman about the capacity / talent of Shmuel Rosovsky.
