This shiur connects Yom Tov Sheini to Yom Ha'atzma'ut. Specifically, the Halacha requires one to either identify as a "ben Eretz Yisrael" or a "ben chutz la'aretz" with regards to Yom Tov sheini. So too, Yom Ha'atzma'ut requires us to clarify our identity. This shiur begins by discussing the tahara process of a metzora, wich also speaks to the concept of a person striving to connect to Yerushalayim from the outside.
