Description

The Gemara in Beitzah 7a-7b discusses a case where a farmer wakes up on Yom Tov morning and finds an egg that was freshly laid. However, he doesn't know whether the egg was laid before Yom Tov began. In this Shiur the Gemara, Rishonim and Achronim discuss a number of factors that would help determine this fascinating question.
