For Masechet Kidushin 3a-b, we will study the language of the 1st Mishna, especially the meaning and use of the word 'Derech' rather than 'Davar'. Why did the Mishna offer numbers, why is the Kinyan Chalipin excluded from Kiddushin? Does the father receive the כסף קידושין when he marries off his daughter? Can the אדון demand that the father refund his monies when the אמה עבריה reaches the age of נערות?
