Description

For the sugya in Bava Kamma 26a-b we will address the following issues: one, should רגל pay in Reshus HaRabim 50% of the compensation based upon a קל וחומר from Keren? The basis is the leniency of Keren which only pays 50% in Reshus HaNizak whereas Regel pays 100%. Can we derive a leniency from a Kal Vachomer to establish that Keren should be exempt in a public domain? Second, would רגל pay כופר in the case of an animal that trampled a human to death?
