For Masechet Bava Matzia 47b we will study the status of an אסימון as far as sale and with regard to חילול פירות מעשר שני. We will begin our study of the great debate between R' Yochanan and Reish Lakish over acquiring movables: does the Torah recognize the transfer of מעות as a valid קנין (as it is in קרקע)? Or does the Torah require משיכה?
